USM Haller Tools - What You Need for Assembly and Disassembly

Without the right tools, assembling or disassembling a USM Haller piece of furniture is hardly manageable. The furniture system is ingeniously designed, but the connectors, tubes, and balls can only be properly assembled with specialized tools. Regular hardware store tools won't help here.

I've worked with tools from Limics24 myself and can recommend them. Here's an overview of what's available and what you really need.

The Connector Puller - the most important single tool

Anyone who has tried to knock out stuck connectors with a rubber mallet knows the problem: it works poorly and you risk damaging the tubes.

The connector puller from Limics24 (€12.99) solves this elegantly. You attach it, turn - and the connector comes out cleanly. No hammering, no risk. In practice, this really works well and is quick.

Important: The connector puller from Limics24 currently only works for the 2nd generation of USM Haller. A model for the 1st generation is in development. If you need a tool for the 1st generation now, you can use the connector puller from Konektra - it works for both generations but is more expensive.

The 5-piece tool set (€39.99)

Anyone who wants to assemble or disassemble a USM Haller piece of furniture needs at least this set. It contains the most important tools for all basic work. With it, you can screw in connectors, connect tubes, and insert shelves.

What's not included: the connector puller and a ratchet. For simple assembly of a sideboard or shelf, the set is still sufficient. But anyone who regularly assembles USM furniture or also does disassembly should go for the larger case.

The 15-piece tool case (€119.99) - the flagship

This is the complete package. The case contains everything you need: ratchet, connector puller, all attachments and specialized tools. This makes assembly really comfortable and significantly faster than with the small set.

For professionals - office furnishers, furniture assemblers, or companies that regularly build USM Haller - the case is the clear recommendation. But even for private individuals who value good tools, the investment is worthwhile. The case is well-made and you have everything in one place.

Suction cup / Vacuum lifter (€12.99)

A small but useful tool: the suction cup helps with inserting shelves. The metal panels can be slippery, especially the larger ones. With the vacuum lifter, you have a secure grip and the shelves won't slip from your hands.

Who needs USM Haller tools?

Essentially everyone who owns or wants to build a USM Haller piece of furniture. Without the specialized tools, assembly is very difficult. This applies to private individuals as well as professionals.

Particularly interesting for bulk buyers and office furnishers: Limics24 offers wholesale prices with up to 50% discount for appropriate quantities. The tools are also quickly deliverable in large quantities - customer service responds extremely quickly.

Tools for USM Haller are only available from three suppliers:

• Limics24 - My recommendation. Best price-performance ratio, fast delivery, wholesale prices possible.
• Konektra - Good quality, but more expensive. Advantage: connector puller also works for 1st generation.
• Robelfrobel - Smaller supplier on eBay.

My recommendation

For the occasional user: The 5-piece set (€39.99) plus connector puller (€12.99) separately. This gets you fully equipped for under €55.

For frequent users and professionals: The 15-piece tool case (€119.99). Everything included, everything organized, much more comfortable to handle.
