USM Haller Price List 2026: What Does USM Really Cost?
USM Haller has the reputation of being expensive. But what do the furniture pieces actually cost? And how much can you save by buying used or compatible parts? Here's the honest price overview for 2026.
Original Prices: New USM Haller Furniture
USM regularly adjusts prices - most recently there was an increase of about 3-5% at the beginning of 2025. The current guide prices (RRP, as of early 2026):
Sideboards & Shelving
Sideboard 2×1 (150 × 35 × 39 cm, 2 doors): from approx. €1,200-1,500
Sideboard 3×2 (225 × 35 × 74 cm, 6 doors): from approx. €3,200-3,800
Shelf 2×4 (150 × 35 × 143 cm, open): from approx. €2,400-2,800
Shelf 3×6 (225 × 35 × 213 cm, open): from approx. €4,500-5,500
Desks
USM Kitos (175 × 75 cm, not height-adjustable): from approx. €1,800-2,200
USM Kitos M (175 × 75 cm, electrically height-adjustable): from approx. €3,500-4,200
Individual Parts (Original Spare Parts)
Door/Drop door: approx. €180-250 | Drawer/Pull-out: approx. €350-450 | Ball (single): approx. €15-20 | Tube 69.5 cm: approx. €25-35 | Shelf insert: approx. €80-120
Used Prices
Used USM Haller furniture holds its value surprisingly well. As a rule of thumb: 50-70% of the new price, depending on condition, color and age.
Classic colors (White, Black, Anthracite) are the most expensive when used because demand is high. Rare colors like Gentian Blue or Orange are often cheaper used because the market is smaller - an advantage for the bold.
Where to buy: eBay Kleinanzeigen, office liquidations (often large quantities at good prices), specialized used dealers like usm-markt.de.
Compatible Parts: Price Comparison
The biggest price difference shows in individual parts:
Ball: Original approx. €18 → Compatible (Limics24) approx. €5-7
Tube 69.5 cm: Original approx. €30 → Compatible approx. €8-12
Door: Original approx. €220 → Compatible approx. €60-90
Connector: Original approx. €3 → Compatible approx. €1
A complete Sideboard 3×2 with doors costs as a DIY build with compatible parts approx. €800-1,200 instead of €3,200+ - a saving of around 60-70%.
Is USM Haller Financially Worth It?
At first glance: no. An IKEA Kallax 4×2 costs €80, a USM sideboard in similar size over €3,000. But USM Haller lasts practically forever - the metal doesn't rust, the powder coating is extremely durable, and the system can be reconfigured at will. After 10 years, the Kallax is at the recycling center, the USM sideboard still brings €2,000 on eBay.
The economically clever variant: Buy used, expand with compatible parts when needed. This way you get the best of both worlds - the resale value of the original and the affordable expansion costs of compatible parts.
Plan your budget with the configurator - there you can see exactly how many parts you need for your desired configuration.
Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on size and configuration. A simple 2-cell sideboard starts at around 250-350 euros for parts from Limics24. From the original manufacturer or pre-assembled, it can be 30-80% more expensive. Use our 3D Configurator to calculate the exact price.
Modula24 does not sell anything. There are various dealers for USM Haller compatible spare parts - e.g. Limics24 (in our opinion the best supplier), smow, Konektra and others.
Used USM Haller can be worth it, especially for complete pieces in good condition. Note: 1st generation connectors are not compatible with the 2nd generation. Before buying, check for complete parts and the condition of the powder coating.
