Building USM Haller: A step-by-step guide

Step-by-step assembly

  1. You will need specific USM tools. You can find them in our shop.
  2. Start by lightly screwing four of the eight connectors onto the balls.
  3. Then, place the four 350mm tubes vertically onto these four connectors.
  4. Use a ratchet with an extension to tighten the connectors through the 350mm tubes.
  5. Next, assemble the pre-assembled frame with the remaining four connectors. Screw them on loosely again. You do not need to tighten the connectors extremely; lightly is sufficient.
  6. Carefully place the frame onto the four vertically mounted tubes.
  7. Change the ratchet attachment to tighten the frame. Note that this time you need to turn in the opposite direction - i.e., counter-clockwise.
  8. Now insert the four metal panels/shelves.
  9. When inserting the metal panels/shelves, make sure to start with one corner.
  10. Start at the back and then press the metal panel/shelf at the front and top.
  11. Once all four metal panels/shelves are in place, secure the top metal panel/shelf with screws.
