The quality of the metal sheets and powder coating is rated predominantly positive in forums and reviews, although some users report slight color variations with certain shades.

Strengths: Wide range, pre-configured setups available to order, active online presence with inspiration and instructions.

Weaknesses: Prices are sometimes only 40-50% below the original - cheaper, but not a bargain. Delivery times can be longer for popular colors.

Limics24: The Spare Parts Specialist

Limics24 is primarily active through Amazon and their own shop, focusing more strongly on individual parts and spare parts: balls, connecting tubes, connectors, doors. This makes Limics24 particularly interesting for people who want to expand or repair existing USM Haller without paying original spare part prices.

Strengths: Individual parts for expansion and repair, affordable prices especially for connectors and tubes, Amazon availability with fast shipping.

Weaknesses: Smaller range than Konektra, no complete furniture pieces, focus on parts rather than complete solutions.

USM Original: When Is It Worth It?

The original has clear advantages despite the high prices: Consistent quality over decades (a USM sideboard from 1990 can be expanded with parts from 2026), resale value (used USM furniture retains 50-70% of its new price), and warranty. If you're buying a piece of furniture for 20+ years and value resale potential, the original is the better choice.
